June Dewberry Turner, 86, passed away on April 10, 2022 at Vicker’s Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Maben, MS and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother “Granny” and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Dewberry and Clemie Reed Dewberry; and sisters, Ozell D. Ivy, Inez D. Ivy and granddaughter, Gwen Turner White.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Glenn Turner of Maben, MS; daughters, Cindy Davis (John) of Maben, MS, Malissa Carden (Jimmy) of Mathiston, MS, and Angie Carden (Stacey) of Eupora, MS; son, Mitchell A. Turner (Maxine) of Maben, MS; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Maben, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the church sanctuary. Bro. Tommy Temple will conduct the service. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery (White Block Church) in Maben, MS.
