Mr. John Keith Dunlap, 60, died Friday, August 5, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 A.M. Burial will follow in College Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Dunlap was born on October 13, 1961, to the late John Ed and Carolyn Dunlap. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from The University of Mississippi and worked in Real Estate. John was known for his kindness and love. John was also a gifted writer, artist, and decorator. He and his mother, Carolyn, owned and operated The Marketplace, an antique store in Oxford. This business enabled John to share his talents with many others. He spent the majority of his adult life helping care for his mother and also his sister, Kathy Rowland, when she was gravely ill with cancer for so long. He was not only a loving caretaker for his beloved family, but an overseer of everything in the house and home. He especially loved the yard work, and he meticulously maintained the landscaping around the property. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunlap was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Dunlap Rowland.

Mr. Dunlap is survived by his niece, Kristin Kelly and her husband, Wayne of Oxford, MS; nephews, Sumner Rowland and his wife, Mallory of Oxford, MS and Jordan Bruce and his wife, Victoria of Nashville, TN; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
