Allie Mae Parker

A service to celebrate the life of Allie Mae Parker, 79, will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time on Thursday. Rev. Waring Porter will officiate the services.

Mrs. Parker died on August 28, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Hospital. She was born in Shuqualaq, MS on September 28, 1942 to the late Heddard O. and Eula Belle Daniel Byram. She graduated from Shuqualaq High School in 1960 and attended East Mississippi Junior College. She worked many years at Wurlitzer and then Caterpillar where she retired. Mrs. Parker was a member of First Presbyterian Church and volunteered her time helping at the AMEN Food Pantry. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James “Paco” Parker; son, Greg Parker (Debbie); grandchildren, Kara Reedy (Jake), JonMichael Parker, Jordan Parker, Tanner Parker and Joel Parker; great-grandchildren, Austin Casabella, Hayes Reedy, Parker Reedy, Kensley Parker, and Ezra Reedy; and a brother in law, Bobby Daniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Parker; and a sister, Judy Daniel.

Pallbearers will be JonMichael Parker, Tanner Parker, Jordan Parker, Joel Parker, Jake Reedy and Aaron Rorie.
