Robert Blasingame
A Celebration of Life Service for Robert Lee Blasingame, 79, will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Hatchie Chapel Church with Bro. Ronnie Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Temple Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday 10:00 to service time, all at Hatchie Chapel.
Robert died October 8, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born July 2, 1943 In Alcorn Co. MS to the late David Sylvester and Louetta Blasingame. He was a member of Hatchie Chapel. Over the years he worked for Corinth Gas & Water, Rogers Supermarket and Benchcraft. He was a Mason and a member of Jonesboro Lodge 250 in Walnut. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Blasingame; son, Ronnie Blasingame; great granddaughter, Arabella Merryman; parents; brothers, David Blasingame and James Blasingame; and sisters, Faye Stonebarger and Margaret Bizzell.
He is survived by his son, Tory Blasingame; daughters, Glenda Oaks, Brenda Trimm (William), Cermisa Wiginton and Darlene Stanley; sister, Frances Cornelius; grandchildren, Jeffery Merryman (Amy), Heather Merryman, Andrew Merryman (Destiny), Jonathan Blasingame, Brandon Blasingame (Abby), Destiny Armstrong (Hunter), Dillon Mercer (Destiny), Skylar Mercer, Christian Wiginton and Kurbie Blasingame; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
