Virginia D. Gifford (81) passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home in Saltillo. She was a member of Hughes Chapel Baptist Church. She was a very loving woman. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and sewing.

Memorial services will be 3 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Bass officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Craig Gifford (Elishia) of Murfreesboro, TN, John Clayburn Gifford of Saltillo and Christopher Scott Gifford of Murfreesboro, TN; her daughters, Daphne Thomas (Bruce) of Saltillo and DeAnn Richey (Kevin) of Blue Springs; her brothers, Bill Owens (Linda) of Tupelo and JD Owens (Georgia) of FL; her sister, Juanita Owens of AL; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Gifford; her daughter, Danica McCord; her granddaughter, Destiny McCord; her parents, Roy C and Loretta Speck Owens; her brother, Malon "Buddy" Owens and her sister, Anna Sue Watts.

Pallbearers are Chris Gifford, Kyle Gifford, Haygen Richey, Logan Parrish, Tyler Gifford and Levi Bass.
