Jeffrey Mark Ashe

Jeffrey Mark Ashe of Pontotoc, MS, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the Sanctuary Hospice House, in Tupelo, MS .

He was born in Birmingham, AL, on July 21, 1965, to Vernon William (Bill), Jr and Gail Ashe. He was a graduate of Erwin High School in Center Point, AL, and held Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Business Management from the University of North Alabama. He was a lover of history, football, and antiques– especially old cars and vintage signs. He was a co-owner of Ashe Insurance Agency, Inc., in Pontotoc.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shewana Thorn Ashe; two sons, Taylor M. (Bre) Ashe and Andrew R. (Sierra) Ashe, both of Pontotoc, MS; one precious granddaughter, Sara Jane, and a grandson, William Jeffrey, who is expected in December; his mother, Gail Ashe of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Cathy DeBardeleben (Perry) of Birmingham, AL, and Robin Thompson (Butch) of Auburn, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon William (Bill) Ashe, Jr, and his grandparents.

There will be a visitation with the family at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc on Friday, October 14, 4:00-7:00 and Saturday, October 15, 10:00 until graveside service at 11:00 at the Pontotoc City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Grace Bible Church, Olive Branch, MS, on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2:00.

Pallbearers will be Nick Owens, Nathan Owens, Bill Rutledge, Wally Witt, Randy Young, John Crawford, Ken Butler and Kenneth Frantz.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to the Regional Rehabilitation Center, to help with the special needs of children, or Sanctuary Hospice House, both located in Tupelo, MS.
