Freddie Wayne McCreary (72) passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his home in the Friendship Community. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, picking his guitar, bingo, camping and going to squirrel camp. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

Services are 10 am Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. John Cagle officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, October 21, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Freddie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary "Susie" McCreary; his sons, Chris McCreary (Jennifer) of Friendship, Jeff McCreary (Joyce) of Booneville and Marty McCreary (Elaine) of Booneville; his daughters, Janie Foster (Ben) of Blue Springs and Marla Patterson (Todd) of Blue Springs; his uncle, Floyd McCreary of Booneville; his sisters, Janice Rutledge of Booneville, Linda Jackson of Booneville, Pam Cole of Booneville and Lafonda Bell (Kenny) of Booneville; his grandchildren, Courtney (Jeremy), CJ, Katie (Peyton), Tori, Anna, Joe, Ethan, Haley (Justin), Luke, Jake, Abby, Wendy (Freddy), Jennifer (Mike), Casey, Micki (Nathan) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lea Illa and Fred McCreary; his uncles and aunts, Lester McCreary, Wallace McCreary, Dank McCreary and Arlena McCreary; and his mother-in-law, Luevenie Ratliff.

Pallbearers are Ben Foster, Luke Foster, Jake Patterson, Todd Patterson, Justin Sandlin, Joe McCreary, Ethan McCreary and CJ McCreary.
