Sadie Ivy Fleming (80) was reunited with her Lord and Savior and her husband on October 23, 2022. She was born on October 20, 1942 to the late George and Josie Ivy. She married the love of her life, Bobby Fleming on December 19, 1959 and they were married for 63 years before his passing. She was a lifelong member of Parker’s Chapel Baptist Church. She loved her church family and the many children she taught when teaching young souls.

Sadie worked at Lucky Star and many other furniture jobs. She worked at MTD until she retired. She loved fishing, reading and spending time making memories with her family, who will cherish those memories.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Basden (Ricky) of Booneville, Anthony Fleming of Marietta and Charlotte Duncan of Booneville; her grandchildren, Christy Basden of Petal, Allisa Mask (Caden) of Booneville, Dacoda Basden (Leah) of Booneville and Hayle Sharp (Andrew) of Sara, MS; her great-grandchildren, Emily Green and Johnathan Basden; her sister, Susie South of Tishomingo and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Fleming; her grandson, Nelson Duncan and her brother, James Scroggins, Gene Scroggins and Willard Ivy.

A celebration of her life will be 2 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Guin and Bro. Douglas Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkville Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Caden Mask, Jimmy Harold, Wayne Guin, Eddie James, Michael James, Jerry Fleming and Dacoda Basden.

Honorary pallbearers are Asher Dingler and Johnathan Basden.
