Ms. Brenda Lee King, 55, transitioned on November 9, 2022, at the Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, MS.

Brenda Lee King – Born Feb. 7, 1967 to Jason King Sr. and Mattie Ray of New Albany, MS.

Brenda accepted Christ at an early age. She frequently visited Good Shepard Cogic in Pontotoc, MS. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends & family. Brenda was the life of the party and never met a stranger.

Brenda departed this life on Nov. 9, 2022 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.

Preceding her death was her mother Mattie Ray of New Albany, MS; Kathy King of New Albany, MS and a special friend, Michael Garmon of Tupelo, MS.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her father Jason King (Holly Springs, MS), her daughter Latreka King (New Albany, MS), her son Brandon Frazier (Anna) of New Albany, two brothers; Archie (Lori) of Pontotoc, MS; Jason King Jr. (Austin, TX), two sisters; Patricia Tucker (Pittsburgh, PA), Mattie Banks (James) of New Albany, MS; 7 grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, family & friends. Special Thanks To: Columbus Baptist Memorial Hospital and the Sanctuary Hospice House for their wonderful care and service for Brenda’s untimely demise. In addition, we would like to thank DK & Mom’s Soul Food and Catering as well as our family & friends for your prayers, love, support and flowers during this difficult time.

Visitation will  be on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 12:30 p.m. to 1:59 p.m.,  and Service will be at 2:00 p.m., at Good Shepherd Church of God in Christ, 184  W. Bolton St, Pontotoc, MS.
