Carl Allen Jones, 57, transitioned on Monday, November 7, 2022, in Memphis, TN.

During our journey in life, we encounter many things and become acquainted with many people, but there is always someone who touches our lives and hearts in special ways, that someone was Carl Allen Jones. Life was given to Carl on January 05, 1965 to the late Roosevelt and Annie Jones.

Carl accepted Christ as his personal savior and was a member of Hopewell #1 MB Church. He was employed at Sherwin Williams in Olive Branch for a number of years. In later years, he became self- employed and a well-respected handy man.

 Man said he entered eternal rest on November 7, 2022, but only God knows the exact time he answered his call and took his hand.

He leaves a beautiful life to be remembered by, his children, Jaquata Brooks of Holly Springs, MS, Bianca Richmond of Olive Branch, MS, D'Anthony Jones of Holly Springs, MS, Ebony (Kenneth) Offiang of Memphis, TN, and Lexus Sesson of Olive Branch, MS; his grandchildren, Khylan, Iryana, Brooklynn, Rhylee, Suh'Mary, Ellajah, Jayce, Omari, Legend, Kaijer, and Jordynn; nine sisters, Angela Jones, Rosie (Allen) Barnosky, Janie (Saidou) Thiam, Betty (David) Anderson, Vanessa Jenkins, Connie Jenkins, Bridgett Jenkins, and Kristan Crockett; nine brothers, Phil Jones, Victor (Tammy) Jones, Fredrick Jenkins, Jessie Jones, John Owens, Larry Jones, Christopher Jones, James Jones, and Corey Crockett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Carl is proceeded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Annie Jones; sister Charlene Massey, brother Donald Jenkins, his nieces Kesha Jones and Courtney Corrothers, and a special friend Shelia Caldwell.

Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, in Holly Springs, MS.

Body will lie in state at 10:00 a.m., Service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Antioch M.B. Church, 1306 Gardner Road, Victoria, MS.

Burial will take place at McCraven Cemetery, in Victoria, MS. 

Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
