Mary Helen Harrison Kennedy
A gathering of friends and family for Mary Helen Harrison Kennedy will be held Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with burial at Henry Cemetery.
Mrs. Kennedy passed away at her home in Corinth on February 17, 2023. She was born on May 28, 1937 in Corinth to the late Lamar and Frances Bentley Harrison. She was a 1955 graduate of Corinth High School. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She loved playing bridge with her bridge club and was a founding member and past president of Junior Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Singleton, Kay Giles (Craig) and Sally Warren (Brady); grandchildren, Carol Ann Rencher, Stephen WItt and Jackson Warren; great-grandchildren, WIll Rencher, Bo Rencher, Blakely Witt and Reese Witt; sister, Margaret Maness; her nieces and nephews; special friend, Jimmy Bumpas; beloved nurse, Jean Rogers; and caretakers, Kathy Meyers and Debbie Gordon.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Kennedy; daughter, Christy Kennedy; sister, Dorothy Marlar; and son-in-law, Mike Singleton.
