A Celebration of Life Service for Jewel Pauline Miller Mills, 94, is set for 2:00 pm Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Rowland and Bro. Cody Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 pm to service time.

Pauline died March 4, 2023 at her residence. She was born Alcorn Co. MS to the late Austin and Cora Lee Mitchell. She was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and a graduate of Biggersville High School. Over the years she worked at Gift School, Alcorn Care Inn and for Dr. Braxton, Dr. Shelby Reid and Dr. Sherrill Stewart before retiring. She enjoyed working in her garden, with flowers, camping, fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Winford Miller, Loyd Mills; parents; sons, Paul D. Mills, James “Rebon” Mills (Shirley); brothers, James “Crip” Mitchell, Ed Mitchell, Billy Bruce Mitchell; and sisters, Betty Sue Leatherwood and Effie Lou Castile.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette Switcher; sons, Mike Miller, Leland Mills (Lynn), Thomas Mills (Jeannie) and Junior Mills (Jody); daughter-in-law, Dorothy Mills; grandchildren, Jimmy Switcher, Starr Richardson, Jamie Miller, Ashley Miller, Taqua Moody, Tina Wilbanks, Clayton Mills, Scotty Mills, Jennifer McKee, Angie Moss, Tommy Mills, Benjamin Mills, Eric Mills, Kevin Mills and Jared Mills; and several great and great great grandchildren.
