Mr. Jimmy Lee Barrentine, 78, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at his home in Water Valley, MS. The graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Cleveland, MS to the late Richard Dee and Sally Horton Barrentine, Corporal Barrrentine served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a sportsman who loved to watch the Saints and the Cardinals. Jimmy and his wife, Tammy, enjoyed spending time together fishing. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Moore.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tammy Juanita Barrentine of Water Valley, MS; a step-daughter, Anna Kellum of Durant, MS; a step-son, Cullen Ray Jenkins of Inverness, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
