Annelle Gilder Scott, 59, of Vardaman, departed from this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at her home in Vardaman, MS. She was born on October 09, 1963 in Vardaman to the late William Jasper Gilder and Sharon Lowe Gilder.

Annelle spent many seasons of life working as a clerk at Spratlin Building Supply until her health began to decline. She married her spouse, the late Kenneth Wayne Scott on July 02, 1988 in Vardaman, MS. She loved anything to do with her grandchildren especially softball games and was very community oriented. Annelle was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. Although Annelle has departed from our presence, she has gone to rest in a place free of sickness.

She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: daughter, Leslie (Nathan) Fugett of Vardaman; three sons: Kenneth (Erica) Scott of Vardaman; Brandon (Myra) Taylor of Horn Lake; Jay Scott Payne of Vardaman; eight grandchildren: Lyla Fugett, Kazeleigh Payne, Kyleigh Scott, Austin Taylor, Brennen Taylor, Preston Taylor, Laden Scott, and Tate Scott; two sisters: Wilka Gilder of Vardaman; Cheryl Gilder of Vardaman.

Annelle is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Scott; parents, William Jasper Gilder and Sharon Lowe Gilder; son, Christopher Scott; sister, Karen Gilder Harrelson; brother, William Jasper Gilder.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The service honoring Annelle's life will take place on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman with Bro. Whit Casey officiating. Mark Harrelson, Michael Kendall, Laden Scott, Tate Scott, Brennen Taylor, and Jimmy Wiygul will carry Annelle to rest in Midway Cemetery.
