Martha Anne Beasley Gentry, 77, passed away at home on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born September 6, 1945 in New Albany, MS, to John and Easter Beasley. She graduated from W P Daniel High School in New Albany. She was always a proud bulldog supporter. She married Gordon Gentry, Jr. They traveled the world while Gordon was in the Air Force. She made a life long friends through the years from California to England. Martha was a true example of a faithful Christian woman. She was always willing to listen to others and help them. She loved to study and teach God's word. She has touched so many peoples lives by teaching classes at church. One of her favorite things to do was to talk about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite past times were watching tv, football, Nascar, reading and traveling.
Services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Antioch Church of Christ . Scott Anderson, Jimmy Hitt and Chris Tyner will officiate. Burial will be in the Starks-Gentry Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
Survivors, daughter, Lorna Keel (Chuck); grandchildren, Keena Smith (Brandon), Michael Williams and Madi Williams; two great grandchildren; her brother, Ronald Beasley, her sister, Mary Yust; sister in law, Ellen Prentice; beloved cousins, nieces and nephews as well as her church families at Pontotoc Church of Christ and Antioch Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by, husband of 55 years, her precious daughter, Angel; and her parents.
Pallbearers, Brad and Sam Smith, John Moore, Kevin and Kalor Kirby and Thomas Robison.
Visitation, 11:00am until service time Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Antioch Church of Christ.
