Mary E Anderson, 96, died May 20, 2023, at Sunshine Healthcare Facility in Pontotoc, MS. She was born February 25, 1927, in Union County to William C. Horton and Viola Hamblin Horton. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was retired form J.C. Penney's in Clarksdale, MS. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and Home Makers Club of Toccopola and a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary. She was an active member of her community. She loved her family and friends.
Services will be at 10:00am Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery at Toccopola, MS. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, children, Marlin Anderson (Ellie) of Oakton, VA, Larry Anderson (Martha) of Amherst, VA, Garry Anderson of Toccopola and Renee Burkett (Harry) of Greenville, TX; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; and a sister, Lois McDonald of Eads, TN.
Preceded in death by, husband, Ross Anderson; her parents; and her sister, Bunice Baird.
Visitation, 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday, May 26, 2023, at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home and 9:00am until service time Saturday May 27, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church.
