Curtis (Tony) Anthony Mcclelland
Nov. 30, 1956 – May 28, 2023
Few called him Hank, most called him Tony, but pops called him Thomas. Tony Mcclelland was an extraordinary man. He was a loving son, father, Grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Tony unexpectedly passed away at his home Sunday May 28,2023. Tony was a kind-hearted person. He loved to make others laugh and could fill the room with conversation. A man of nature. He loved to hunt and never missed a chance to wet a hook. He was a retired carpenter with exceptional skills. Tony loved the outdoors whether he was working or just hanging out with friends or family.
Tony was born November 30, 1956, in Louisville, Ms. He is survived by his mom, Christine Gillis (Algen) of Starkville, MS: Daughters, Jami Hubbard (Craig) of Sturgis, MS: Toni Mcwilliams (Juju) of West point, MS: Brother Terry Mcclelland (Susie) of Sturgis, MS: Grandkids: Case Hubbard, Ragan Hubbard, Gabreil (Gabby) Mcwilliams, and Abigail (Gail) Mcwilliams. Sister, Vicki Gillis Hughes (Tracy) and numerous other family members.
Tony was predeceased by his father, Curtis McClelland and by his beloved son, Andy Mcclelland.
Please Join Tonys family in honoring his memory and life. The memorial service will take place at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS June 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
