Dottie Pounds
Saltillo- Dottie Pounds, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab facility. She loved to cook especially baking, taking pictures, driving and spending time with her family friends and grandchildren. She was a department manager for Walmart for 5 years. She was a member of Cross Point Ministries in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm on Saturday June 3, 2023 at Cross Point Ministries in Tupelo With Pastor Kevin Rae officiating. Burial will be in the Tupelo Memorial Park.
She is survived by three daughters, Renee Pounds of Saltillo, Angela Parker (Kevin) of Fortworth Texas, Jackye Walker (Tomrick) of Plantersville, 7 grandchildren Jay Hervey, Memore Hervey, Aislyn Romito, Josh Parker, Preston Walker, Jordyn Parker, Faith Walker, 2 great grandchildren Rhylee Hughes, Levi Romito and a host of other family and friends. A special heartfelt thanks to Tupelo Nursing and Rehab staff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Obedience and Vinnie Norton Shepherd.
Visitation will be 12 noon till service time Saturday June 3, 2023 at Cross Point Ministries in Tupelo.
