Brenda Stacy

Brenda Fay Stacy, 69, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her home. She was born January 29, 1954, to JC Bishop and Dorothy Harris. She attended Zion Rest Church of Christ and Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She enjoyed camping, going out on the boat, making homemade jelly and bread, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold Stacy; two daughters, Dolly Wheatley (Darrell) and Emily Carpenter (Michael); one brother, Ray Bishop (Debbie); two sisters, Janice Lawrence (David) and Barbara Burcham (Virgil); brother-in-law, Bob Robinson (Gayle); two sisters-in-law, Patsy Hayden and Jewel Bain; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Trey, Emmitt, Jackson, Gatlin, and Rayden; 10 great-grandchildren, Ady, Colton, Kaylie, Gabe, Tristyn, Camdyn, Gunner, Graysen, Caysen and Lyndie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Stacy; and one brother, Jerry Bishop.

Pallbearers are her grandsons.
