Betty Williams
Guntown- Betty D. Williams, age 73 died Saturday June 10, 2023 at her home after a brief illness. She was a housewife, a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo. She loved reading, playing bingo, bowling and her family time.
Services will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Chamblee officiating. Graveside services will be in the Jericho cemetery with Bro. Chris McCluskey officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years George Williams of Guntown, a daughter Alina Whitaker & David of Tupelo, a son Timothy Williams of Guntown, 3 sisters Pat Downs of IL, Judy Mackin & Randy of Booneville and Terrye Livingston & Ray of New Site a brother John Downs & Stephanie of Booneville grandchildren, Matthew, Abigale, Caleb, and Rylee Whitaker Laura, Naya and Sadira Warthman.
Preceded in death by her parents Milton Lee & Nova Lee Keenum, Downs, daughter Kimberly Warthman brother Wayne Downs and a grandson Timothy Williams.
Pall Bearers will be her Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday
