John Harwood Stillman, 82, of Starkville, MS passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. John was born September 11, 1940 and was the son of Robert Stillman and Emma Louise Neal Stillman. He graduated from Starkville High School where he was a star athlete, especially in football. He immediately joined the U. S. Navy, where he served on the USS Canberra. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
John was predeceased by his parents and a younger brother, Jimmy Stillman. He is survived by his wife, Sue Thompson Stillman; his children, Jodi (Chad) Brazeale of Starkville, MS, Jason (Kass) Littrell of Collinsville, MS, and Zebrah (Jeff) Jahnke of Dallas TX; his grandchildren, Laila Brazeale, Karson, Palmer and Woods Littrell, and Reed and Cross Jahnke; and one brother, Robert Stillman of San Antonio, TX.
John’s request was to be cremated and no services. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
