William Rex Patterson II, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Sunshine Health Care. He was born November 22, 1936 to William Rex and Evelyn Thomas Patterson. William was a long time cattle farmer. He was a member of Houlka First Baptist Church. William enjoyed farming and working outside.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 23, 2023 at Old Robbs Cemetery, with Rev. David Blackwell officiating. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
Survivors include his three daughters, Tamasin Patterson, Karen Robuck (Alan) and Rebecca Patterson; two grandchildren; and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Ferguson, Dave McCormick, David McPherson, Mickey McKnight, Danny McKnight and Benjamin Bramlett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pontotoc County 4-H Livestock Program or a charity of the donor's choice.
