Barbara Ann Tutor

Barbara Wilburn Tutor, age 77, left this world peacefully at the NMMC in Tupelo, on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born to Albert Russell Wilburn and S.T. Wade Wilburn on June 23, 1946.

Barbara worked for Whitworth and Ashmore pharmacy, Ramsey and Young pharmacy, and later worked for Fred’s. She loved to talk to people, and she never met a stranger. She truly spent her life being a servant to others.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2023, at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc, with Rev. Wayne Cobb and Clint Long officiating; burial will follow in the Guinn Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Barbara leaves behind her son, Allen Tutor (Brandi) of Pontotoc, which she truly poured every ounce of her life into. She was truly a good and faithful mother. Grandchildren, Baylor Lawrence Fallin and Saylor Brooke Faillin.

She was preceded in death by Allen’s dad, Dexter Tutor; a daughter, Barbara Jo Tutor and both of her parents.

Pallbearers will be Leo Mask, Drew Mask, Randy Roberts, Tony Mask, Mark Baldwin and Stephen Hilliard.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
