Jericho –

Karl Gene Goddard, 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12th, at his home in the Jericho Community. He fought hard to win his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was surrounded in his home by family that loved him so dearly. He was a member of Keownville Baptist Church. He loved his church family and he loved the Lord. One of his Greatest blessings was that he was able to go back to church one last time on Fathers Day. He had many hobbies that he loved, and whatever he did, he did whole heatedly. He could self teach himself to do anything. He was an avid golfer. He loved everything aviation, learning to fly and loved flying with his brother. He loved playing pool and was a master at it. He loved photography and would always capture the best shot. He was a master story teller, which would always end in laughter. He had a unique sense of humor and had the ability to find happiness in any situation. He was young at heart and was always up for an adventure, competition, and anything his kids and grand-kids wanted him to do. He loved animals of any kind. One of his biggest attributes is that he was known to have “the biggest heart”. Most of all, he loved his family. He was a grill master and loved having all of his family and friends over to cook for them often. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He could always make you laugh or smile.
