Geraldene Phillips Vick

Geraldene Phillips Vick, 94, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born December 23, 1928, to Clifford and Nellie Phillips. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her nursing career included working for Dr. R.B. Cunningham, Dr. Sam Galloway, and Baptist Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. David English and Mr. Gary Huddleston officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Huddleston (Gary) and Tommie K Murphy (Eddie); foster son, Adlai Brinkley; step-son, Raymond Vick; two sisters, Inez Cole and DiAnn Cox (Rudy); four grandchildren, Chris Murphy (Traci), Lori Johnson (Jeff), Laci McClung (Josh), and Jason Crowe (Carlin); eight great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Eli Murphy, Noah and Seth Johnson, Carson and Clark McClung, Drew and Caroline Crowe; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Vick; her parents; infant son, Jerry Wayne Crowe; son, Robert “Bob” Crowe; brother, Max Phillips; and four sisters, Anita Sue Phillips, Kathleen Crowe, Emogene Carpenter, and Margie Cox.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
