Brenda Gail Hayden Sutton, 77, of Calhoun City departed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home in Calhoun City. She was born on September 08, 1946, in Raleigh, MS to the late Kenneth W. Hayden and Maysel James McAlpin Hayden.
Brenda spent many seasons of her life as an interior designer. She enjoyed decorating for whatever the occasion may have been. In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her husband Larry Eston Sutton of Calhoun City; daughter Heather (Andy) Young of Batesville, MS; son, Bradley (Cindy) Sutton of Hernando; two sisters: Twila Baker of Sherwood, AR; Karen Madison of Anchorage, AK; brother, Joseph Hayden of Jacksonville, AR; three grandchildren: Riley Thad Young, Lexie Avery Young, and Ainsley Gayle Young; three step-grandchildren: Whitnie Johnson, Alyssa Pannell, and Matthew Johnson.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth W. Hayden and Maysel James McAlpin Hayden; son, Jeffrey Thad Sutton.
A memorial service remembering Brenda's life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. with visitation from 2:00 PM until the service time.
