Martha Sue Edge

Martha Sue Brock Edge, 82, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born December 30, 1940, to Norvin and Irene Marcy Brock. She graduated from Mooreville High School and from Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she received her nursing degree. She worked at Day-Brite, Magnolia Wholesale, and as a nurse at NMMC during her working years. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Booneville.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jim Mooney and Bro. Eldon McVey officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Cecelia Russell of Booneville and Amelia Knight (Keith) of Mantachie; the father of her daughters, Charles Clayton of Fulton; one step-son, Danny Edge, Jr. (Jennifer) of Byhalia; one sister, Myriam Guin of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Kelly W. Knight (Stacy) of Mantachie, Kevin Knight of Tupelo, Kerry Knight (Tiffany) of Tremont, Danielle Edge and Alyssa Edge, both of Byhalia; four great grandchildren, Lexi Black and Saige Black, both of Tremont, and Addie Belle and Deacon Knight, both of Mantachie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Edge, Sr.; one sister, Peggy Bishop; one son-in-law, Kenny Russell; one niece, Deb Roebuck; two brothers-in-law, Harold Bishop and Herbert Guin; and her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
