Ruby Nichols
Baldwyn- Ruby Nichols, 96, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Countrywood Manor in Mantachie. She was seamstress and a Baptist. She loved to read, do puzzles, work in her garden and flowers and watch the hummingbirds. Her greatest joy was seeing her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. with Bro. Toby Mears and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Vercilla Adams (Mike) and Sheila Massey; grandchildren, Kenneth Michael (Gail), Candy Dickerson, and James Massey; great-grandchildren, Andrew Michael (Jordan), Justin Michael (Catherine), Nikki Kennedy (Shawn) and Haley Dickerson; great-great-grandchildren, Jase, Gabriel, Eli, Bella, Bently, Abraham, Houston, Ruby, Remington, Abel and Job; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Surrell Nichols; eleven siblings and her grandson, Christopher Michael.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Maxcy, Jerry Burns, Bud Neely, Gerald Neely, Danny Waddle, William Barnes, Coy Voyles and Burness Voyles.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home tonight from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
