Patricia Bell Clendenin, 77, of Starkville, passed away peacefully at home on November 22. She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Colonel James Clendenin; her parents, Willard and Nancy Bell; and brothers, Larry (Mary) Bell and David (Ann) Bell. She leaves behind her stepson, Eric Clendenin, his wife, Deandra, and two children, Keegan and Rowan; two sisters, Betty (Hugh) Duncan, and Donna (John) Huff; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pat (Tricia) attended Starkville High School and completed a Masters degree in Elementary Education at Mississippi State University in 1969. After serving as a librarian at MSU for 2 years, she taught, including gifted children, for 35 years in Mississippi, Texas, and finally Georgia, retiring from Warner Robins Air Force Base School.
Friends and family please join us for a memorial service to celebrate her life. We will gather on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS to remember Tricia, who will be greatly missed. Please bring your fondest memories of her to share with family and friends.
The family deeply appreciates the loving care given Tricia by Legacy Hospice: Kadie, Tyler, and Laura Claire; and private caregivers: Bonita, Cloria, Dorothy, Jean, and Sheron. You made such a positive and profound impact on her last months, thank you.
