Tony Max Cain, 67, of Banner departed from this life on Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home in Banner, MS. He was born on September 16, 1956, in Oxford, MS to the late Kenneth Cain and Doris Maxine Cain.

Tony, was a retired logger from Cain and Cain Logging Company. He loved being outside, hunting, looking for arrowheads, and petrified wood. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Sarepta Baptist Church. Tony will be deeply missed by his family.

He is survived by his two daughters: Gency Smith (Devin McCammon) of Galveston, TX; Brianne Cain of Banner; son, Chad (Jonna) Cain of Banner; sister, Kay McCormick of Banner; brother, Terry Dean (Teresa) Cain of Banner; grandchildren: Genna Grace (Kent) Casey, Callie Cain, Kobe Cain, Easton Cain, Kylie McGinnis, Jacie McGinnis, Brylee Smith; a host of neices and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Cain and Doris Maxine Cain; brother, Kenneth Wayne "Bitsy" Cain.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 03, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The service honoring Tony's life will take place on Wednesday, January 03, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Bro. Craig McCormick officiating. Easton Cain, Kobe Cain, Tommy Cain, Randy Cain, JR Hillhouse, Lynn McCormick, Joseph Turner, and Neal Wright will carry Tony to rest in Sarpeta Cemetery. Hunter Barefield, Charlie Fortner,Hank Thompson and T.J. Vanlandingham will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The Staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cain family as they begin this new season of life. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
