Buddy Sims
Booneville- Steven “Buddy” Sims, 28, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, March 03, 2024 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a 2013 graduate of Wheeler High School and an avid music, guitar lover and construction worker. He was a jokester, class clown, life of the party and was loved by all. Steven was a family man, only child and he was a momma’s boy. He was a member of the Open Door Worship Center. He was an organ and tissue donor and will be missed dearly by all.
Services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 06, 2024 at 2:00 p. m. with Pastor Shane Ray officiating.
He is survived by his fiance, Carlea Barnes; (3) children, Kylea, Parker and Journea; his mother and step-dad Sherry Norton Raymond and David Raymond; his father, James Sims; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandpa, Jerry Norton, Sr.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 1pm until service time at Waters Funeral Home.
