Floyd “Tony” Anthony Hux
Booneville- Floyd “Tony” Anthony Hux, 67, passed away on March 02, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born February 27, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo to Alton and Nellie Hux. Tony was an avid Christian who loved God, spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tony also enjoyed mechanical work, remodeling houses and working outside.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Fairview Church of God in Cairo, MS on Tuesday, March 05, 2024 in care of Waters Funeral Home with Brother John Ericson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 05, 2024 from 10:00 a. m. until noon. Services will begin at noon with burial following at Fairview Church of God Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Hux; two sons, Bobby (Marissa) Hux of Waverly, TN and Nicholas (Stephenie) Hux of Booneville; two daughters, Kerrie (Tim) Hamby of Booneville, MS and Buffy (Kevin) Lambert of Booneville, MS; (10) grandchildren, Haylee (Lee) Carter, Timothy Jr. (Kari) Hamby, Jade (Braxton) Ross, Bobby (Stevie) Lambert, Jack Lambert, Kaydee Hux, Bailey Hux, Trinity Hux, Landon Stevens and Rylie Hux; (4) great-grandchildren, Greyson Ross, Colton Hamby, Hudson Carter and Josie Lambert; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Nellie Hux and his beloved daughter, Kimberly Mae Hux.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Hux, Timothy Hamby Jr., Bobby Lambert, Kevin Lambert, Jack Lambert, Bobby Hux, Braxton Ross, Lee Carter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greyson Ross, Colton Hamby, Hudson Carter and Timothy Hamby.
