Frances Hollowell Poorbaugh passed away in Hendersonville NC on Sunday, April 7, 2024. At the time of her death she was 99.
Fran was the oldest child of Frank and Ruby Hollowell of Oxford. She graduated from Taylor High School during WWII.
In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Ferguson, and brother, Harold Hollowell.
She is survived by her son, Mike Murdock (Joyce) of Hendersonville, NC; sisters, Anna Beth McNeely of Oxford, MS and Nell Wilson of Nesbit, MS; and brother Jack Hollowell of Oxford, MS. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be at Oxford Memorial Cemetery.
