Robert Wesley Crump was born in Baldwyn, Mississippi on January 18, 1938 to the late Pree
and Virginia McGee Crump. He transitioned from this life on April 8, 2024 at Sanctuary Hospice
House.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Tabernacle Missionary Baptist where he
remained a member until death.

Robert worked for many years as a Veterinarian Assistant at Nelson Animal Clinic and later at
Baldwyn Veterinary Hospital beside Dr. Jimmy Nelson,  Dr. Jamie Nelson and Dr. Don Rowan.

He was preceded in death by seven (7) siblings: Pree Crump, Jr, Earl Tate, Willie G. Keeton,
Annie Margaret Crump, Cozy Jackson, Virginia McGaughy, and Rachel Gaston

To cherish his memories his wife of 61 years Vera Jumper Crump. Two (2) daughters: Valerie
Crump of Booneville, MS and Shanda Scales (Derrick) of Baldwyn, MS; two (2) sons: Grady
Hurd (Lorraine) and Vincent Crump (Felicia) both of Baldwyn, MS. One (1) brother, Bobby C.
Crump (Elizabeth Ann) and one (1) sister Mildred Billups and one (1) sister-in-law Elizabeth
Crump, all of Baldwyn, MS, seven (7) grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
