Harrison Cartwright
Tupelo- Harrison D. Cartwright, age 78, passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He enjoyed watching sports, working outdoors in his garden, riding horses and collecting Nascars and coins. He was the parts mgr. For J.I. CASE company in Tupelo for many years and he was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday April 29, 2024 at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Dozier officiating. Burial will be in the Priceville Cemetery.
He is survived by his son John Cartwright (Dixie) of Starkville, step-daughter Dawn Pannell of Tupelo, sister Joyce Harrington (Jim) of Tupelo, brothers Terry Cartwright (Tracy) of Booneville, Charles Cartwright (Mary) of Booneville, grandchildren Matthew Pannell, Ethan, Alec, Emily Cartwright, Madi Crosby, Makenna Howell, great grandchildren Addi, Case and Ryker Pannell.
He was preceded by his parents Russel and Nettie Green Cartwright, brothers James and Ronnie Cartwright, and wife Barbara Lamb Cartwright.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Pannell, Alec and Chuck Cartwright, Greg Dickerson and Keith Crosby.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Monday April 29, 2024 at Waters Funeral Home.
