Baldwyn- Wanda Frye Taylor, 85, passed away peacefully in the Longwood Community Living Center on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was homemaker and enjoyed growing flowers, knitting, crocheting blankets, bonnets and crafts. She attended the Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 @ 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
She is Survived by 3 sons Keith Potts (Rhonda) of Friendship, Randy Potts (Diana) of Pratts, Kenneth McDowell of Kossuth, Daughter-in-law Joanna McDowell of Jumpertown, 6 Grandchildren Leslie Bennett (Eric), Laura Potts (Brad), Jordan Potts, Logan Potts, Colbie Liegon and Daniel McDowell. 3 Great-Grandchildren Kynleigh Pressley, Nora Pressley, Iyla Bennett and a host of other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wade and Anna Walker Frye, Husband Walter Taylor, son Troy McDowell, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home from noon until 2 p.m on Monday, July 13,2026.
