Mrs. Doris Ellen Decker, 90, passed away on March 15, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Doris was born on March 7, 1930, in Monroe County, to the late Buford and Jeanette Sanders Roberts. She worked as a Grocery Store Clerk and Western Auto. She was a faithful member of the Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ in West Point. She enjoyed working word seek puzzles, feeding and watching hummingbirds, and flower gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was "Mee Maw" to everyone. She married John Robert Decker on March 5, 1949 in Aberdeen and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Wayne Decker, Jr. and two brothers, Horace and Gene Roberts.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. John Bauer officiating and assisted by Dr. James Towery. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her two sons, Wayne Decker (Kay) and Eddie Decker (Lynn), both of West Point: four granddaughters: Morgan Baucom (Billy) of West Point, Anna Decker of Columbus, Candace Decker of West Point and Mary Ellen Decker of West Point: one great-granddaughter, Hadley Baucom of West Point and one sister, Louise Breitkreutz of West Point.

Pallbearers will be Billy Breikreutz, Ted Triplett, Jordan Hawkins, Terry Roberts, Marty Holcombe, Jeff Holcombe, and Donnie Lawlar.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her Church Family at Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ, Nurses and Staff of North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, Dr. Ed Miller, Ed and Joyce Holcombe, Eddie Holcombe, Sidney Barham, Ronnie Roberts, and Danny Hawkins.
