Audie L. Pettigo (66) passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Maple Springs Church of God. He enjoyed riding horses, cooking out and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Services are 4 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Gilmore Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Douglas Kitchens and Bro. Ray Guin officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Gilmore Chapel Cemetery.
Audie is survived by his daughter, Nikki Leathers of Fulton; his sons, Benji George (Jennifer) of Kirkville and Brent George of Kirkville; his mother, Addie Pitts of Kirkville; his brother, Hugh Pettigo of Kirkville; his sister, Martha Holland of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Dameion, Destany, Cheyanne, Joseph, Madalynne, Ethan, Sondra, Harleigh and Nathan and his great-grandchildren, Bailah, Mikey, Jaden and Kalila.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Pettigo; his father, Hester Pettigo; his sister, Margaret Pettigo and his grandson, Dusty Leathers.
Pallbearers are; Dameion Leathers, Hunter Pettigo, Scottie Pettigo, Joe Amedio, Jamie Crabb, Jay Timmons, Michael McMillan, Logan Pettigo and Preston Pettigo.
Honorary Pallbearers are all of his friends on the hill and Paul Keeton.
