PONTOTOC – Barbara Jean Pardee, 63, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Barbara was born and raised in Shelby, MS and moved to Kansas in 1971. She graduated from South Barber High School in Kiowa, Kansas. She worked at J & W Furniture for 34 years. She loved her dog Cookie, her grandchildren, coloring, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Kevin Karl Pardee (Jennifer) of Thaxton and James Neal Pardee (Charissa) of Belden; a 5 grandchildren, Trina, Dana, and Marshall Pardee of Thaxton and Addison and Lillyan Pardee of Belden; 4 sisters, Tracy Walls of Cleveland, MS, Teresa Jones, Ashdown, AR, Rita McGovern, Las Vegas, NV, and Scottie Lowery of Saltillo, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin K. Pardee; mother, Betty Jean Mathis; father, Belvie O'Neal Mathis; and her brother, Byron O'Neal Mathis.
Service will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Mike Whitten officiating. Burial will follow in Post Oak Cemetery with Bro. James Pardee officiating.
Pallbearers: Anthony Kleyla, Weston Watkins, Terry Mathis, Landen Herring, Conner Watts, Piper Gapp, and Charlie Lowery.
Honorary Pallbearers: Mike Lowery, Charlie Lowery, Hunter Walls, George McGovern, Danny Jones, Joey McGovern, and Steven Mathis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 12PM until service time.
