Alice Katherine Strange, 97, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born June 6, 1924, to Clifford and Myrtle Stennett. She worked at the hospital and did some furniture factory work. She along with her dog, Little Bit and best friend Anna Simmerly were three peas in a pod. They could be found riding around town with Little Bit’s head out the window as they went to McDonald’s for sweet tea or to a yard sale.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 21, 2021, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Cody Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Alice (Jimmy) Hawkins; five grandchildren, Chris, Faith, Jeremy, Tracy and Tammy; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “W.K.” Strange; one son, Kenneth E. “Buddy” Strange; her parents; two brothers, Charles Stennett and Guy Stennett; and one sister, Maxine Hancock.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
