Reed was born on June 25, 1981 in Jackson, Mississippi.  While in high school, Reed was a very gifted basketball player, earning numerous awards and honors during his career.  In 1999, after graduating from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Reed attended the University of Mississippi and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  While in college, Reed was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was an avid sports fan and loved playing and watching all sports.  Reed especially loved competing in triathlons and completed several half-Ironman competitions. Reed was employed at Delta Door and Hardware, a division of Cook & Boardman, LLC, in Memphis, Tennessee. With 18 years of industry experience, Reed excelled as a Sales Manager for the company.  He was loved by both his coworkers and his customers and, amazingly, never tired of the daily Oxford to Memphis commute.
