Services to celebrate the life of Alvie Moore, 66, will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time. Bro. Donald Skully will officiate the services.
Alvie died on January 10, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born October 9, 1955 in Corinth to the late Charles Ellis and Ruby Jewel Derryberry Moore. He worked and retired from Quality Metal Stamping in Henderson as a press operator and also enjoyed his lawn service he had on the side. He was a hard worker and he loved his family. He enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling but most of all just being with his family and friends. He attended Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Moore; daughters, Kristie Wilmeth (Brandon) and Tonya Canales (Frank); grandchildren, Kassidie, Spencer, Sawyer, Schaffer and Kyliee; step-grandson, Jaden; step great-granddaughter, Janele; brothers, Kenny Moore (Melinda) and Tony Davis (Peggy); sister, Susie Clingan; sister in laws, Mary “Kat” Lambert, Glenda Reaves; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Moore, Bill Childress and Jerry Moore; and sisters, Joyce Taylor and Janice Childress.
Pallbearers will be Richard Clingan, Shannon Clingan, Bruce Reaves, Alan Reaves, Robert Davis and Anthony Childress.
