Dorothy Mae Duncan, age 87, passed away on January 4, 2022, after a brief illness following a stroke on December 22.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Louis Duncan, and her parents, Audie Webster and Mae McCandless of Aberdeen, MS.
Dorothy was a stay-at-home mother while raising her four children. She later worked at FUMC Mother’s Morning Out ministry. She was a member of the Starkville Church of God.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Mike (Donna) Duncan of Killeen, TX, Diane (Bill) Weeks of Starkville, Howard (Kim) Duncan of New Hope, MS, Andy Duncan of Starkville, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest by her children in a private service, with Steve Parker, longtime family friend and neighbor, officiating.
