Walter Carrol Reed, 81, passed away at Starkville Manor Nursing Home on January 9, 2022. He was a retired supervisor for Ritex in McKinney, TX and a Baptist. He enjoyed gardening and watching football. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jodie Hale Reed; his parents, Walter Lora Reed and Josie Dewberry Reed; one sister and two brothers.
He is survived by his brother, Ray Reed (Diane); niece, Ruth Ann Hawes; one nephew, Jim Kelly (Pat); and special friend, Wanda Smith.
Services will be at a later date.
